So they are constantly searching for violators. It was not long ago that a filmmaker filmed Tony Romo's wedding and used a Coldplay song without permission. Rumor has it that he got fined a huge dollar amount. I think they ended up settling out of court, if I remember correctly. It was enough to convince me to buy licensed music tracks for my work every time. It really is not too much either. I bought a bundle of 100 tracks for less than thirty bucks recently.
