For years now the most used sites in the internet have been actively limiting access to their own content based on your own location. They do it for various reasons, but usually it is based around maximising gains. It could get frustrating though especially if you travel around a bit. One minute you could be seeing a show about the BBC iPlayer afterward discover yourself blocked as you're in the incorrect country. The US version of Netflix even though it costs the same amount as all of the other variants that are regional, has literally thousands more movies and shows to enjoy. Luckily there's a work around to allow one to get the US version of Netflix from where ever you actually are. By hiding your real IP address and connecting like this via an American one the USA Netflix can be accessed by you from any place in the world.
